Welcome to Springring!
Our mission is to make your life as a Teacher, easier. From here you can create posts and events for your Students and their Parents to see. You can even chat directly with any of your student's Parents. Your Classes have already been set up by the Leader and once you log in, your dashboard will look like this:
The Yellow Apple
As a Teacher, you are able to access all your Classes, Students, and Parents from your dashboard. You can carry out all the functions from this view. On the left, your Classes are the channels that you have complete control over. They are your communication pathways and you can think of them as your digital bulletin boards. They are always marked by an apple . If a School Leader has provided you with the correct permissions on Springring, you can create as many Classes as you want. To create a Class for a different Group, simply click

Classes that you are able to post on are followed by a . You can create different types of posts to communicate with Students and Parents. Use Classes to post links to useful websites, images, and videos of activities, and create events to keep them both informed. To post on your class, all you have to do is click
. You can also be added to another class by a Teacher and view their posts. These classes are View-Only and do not have the pencil icon. Learn more about your Classes here.
The School Calendar
We know that a school's calendar is filled with events and important dates. We also know that every classroom has its own list of events. Your Calendar shows all the events happening within the School and your Classes, along with an agenda view to list all upcoming dates and info.
You can access your profile information and preferences in Settings. We understand that a Teacher is busy, therefore when it comes to contacting Parents, you can set your Quiet Hours. You get to decide when Parents can contact you and chat with you directly.
Connecting with Parents
As a Teacher, you can communicate directly with your student's Parents without having to give out your personal phone number. This can be very helpful for giving feedback to individual student's Parents, while maintaining a professional communication relationship. To access the chat, click on the blue chat icon located in the far right corner.
