Teachers have the ability to create an Authorization post. This type of post helps them gather approvals and permissions from Parents. These are shown in the feed as seen below:
As a Parent, you can either Approve or Reject. Consider this type of post as a substitute for a permission slip. When Parents approve an Authorization post, they give their consent to the Teacher. A pop-up window to confirm will appear. A comment section allows the Parents to add any additional information they would like the Teachers to know. Once an Authorization post has been approved or rejected, it will appear as below:
Since both Parents are always viewing the same feed, the decision of the Authorization post shows which Parent made the decision. Therefore, Parents can coordinate and see if a decision has been sent to the Teacher. It also avoids multiple and inconsistent decisions.
